    <title>Análise do projeto da mola Cantilever no trem de pouso</title>

Abstract: Cantilever springs are often preferred for general aviation due to their ease of maintenance, low&#xD;
cost, and reduced weight. These flat springs have one end attached to the aircraft structure and the other&#xD;
supporting the loads from landings, takeoffs, and ground maneuvers. This study aims to improve the&#xD;
theoretical design of these beams by replacing the traditional prismatic beam with one of variable moment of&#xD;
inertia. The beam's width was adjusted to allow for constant stress along its length, maintaining deflection&#xD;
while optimizing material use in the cross-section. This approach enables more efficient material usage,&#xD;
resulting in a lighter beam with the same performance. For proper beam design, deformation calcula tions&#xD;
were conducted using the integration of the elastic differential equation and Castigliano's energy method.&#xD;
Additionally, Autodesk Inventor software was used to simulate deflection and analyze the forces involved. This&#xD;
combination of theoretical methods and digital simulations allowed for an analysis of different beam models.&#xD;
The results confirmed that beams with variable moment of inertia offer superior performance compared to&#xD;
prismatic beams. Both configurations fulfill the same structural function, but the variable geometry beam&#xD;
stands out for its lower mass, making it a more efficient solution for general aviation applications

Abstract: The brewing industry constantly faces challenges to increase operational efficiency and adopt more&#xD;
sustainable practices. This case study investigates the optimization of the Can Loss Index (CLI) and the&#xD;
reduction of carbon dioxide (CO₂) consumption in a canning line of a brewery located in Manaus, Amazonas,&#xD;
Brazil. The research was motivated by the need to reduce costs, minimize waste, and align with environmental&#xD;
sustainability goals. The adopted methodology was based on the Method of Analysis and Problem Solving&#xD;
(MASP), using quality tools and data collection before and after the intervention, over two 30-day periods. The&#xD;
main action was the installation of a manual CO₂ regulation bar on the filler, replacing the previous adjustment&#xD;
system. The results were significant: CO₂ consumption dropped by 81.5%, CLI was reduced to 0.11%, and&#xD;
productivity reached 99.7% of nominal capacity. The study demonstrates that low-cost interventions, when&#xD;
well applied, can deliver substantial gains in efficiency, sustainability, and organizational culture.

    <title>Ergonomia aplicada para Kaizen: uso da ferramenta Checklist OCRA para promover melhoria em posto de trabalho em uma empresa do Polo Industrial de Manaus</title>

    <description>Título: Ergonomia aplicada para Kaizen: uso da ferramenta Checklist OCRA para promover melhoria em posto de trabalho em uma empresa do Polo Industrial de Manaus

Abstract: Engineering is responsible for managing and optimizing product processes, while ergonomics is the&#xD;
science that studies the adequacy of the work environment to the employee, aiming to achieve productivity&#xD;
and good adaptation of the human being to their activity, which should be performed quickly and without&#xD;
failures. The study developed seeks to associate the application of ergonomic tools for process optimization&#xD;
with the contribution of engineering, by reducing the factors that contribute to the probability index of illness&#xD;
due to repetitive strain. This index is measured by a percentage range established by the OCRA (Occupational&#xD;
Repetitive Actions) Checklist methodology. The objective is to promote improvements in the operating method&#xD;
and layout, generating results in activity efficiency, cost reduction, and agility in implementing improvements.&#xD;
The use of the ergonomic tool to measure the likely level of employee illness makes it possible to identify lowcost factors that can be solved internally within the company, fostering interaction between the human factor&#xD;
and the organizational/productive factor. The result obtained was made possible thanks to the identification&#xD;
of critical factors that contribute to the increase in the score on the OCRA Checklist. The data evaluated with&#xD;
the ergonomic tool, after workstation adjustments, showed relevant results regarding the proposed changes,&#xD;
reducing the tool's score and changing the ergonomic risk classification from moderate to low. Furthermore,&#xD;
the improvement facilitated the employee’s tasks and reduced the number of complaints.
